Why now?

Our climate is rapidly changing. In the last 50 years, we have lost 70% of wildlife.

Women are the very active in Environmental Activism. Every meeting I attend, women tend to outnumber the men. When it comes to roles that involve multi-tasking, making, doing, nurturing, supporting, everything - women are very active.
Women also are dominant in caring professions; teachers, nurses, social care.
So I ask this question:
"If women are naturally caring of nature and people, then why aren't we encouraging more women to take up these really important roles in positions of community responsibility?"
